The ski resort has reopened for 2024/2025 season.

Vallasen is a ski resort that is really close to Copenhagen (only 160 km) so it is a perfect place for one day trip. There are 2,6 km of slopes available with 5 different lifts (two chairlifts and three draglifts). The degree of difficulty is varying, from slopes that are really easy to more advanced. There is also the possibility to do cross country skiing with around 7km of routes available.

Equipment rental

You can rent the equipment either on-site or via the website. Last time I just got my snowboard on site and there were plenty of skis and snowboards left, but you can always prebook it.

Food

There is an electrical grill available where you are free to prepare food for yourself. There is also a restaurant located at the bottom of the slope if you feel like grilling is not for you and you would just prefer to eat and drink something hot.

How to get there

Car

Vallåsen is located only 160 km away from Copenhagen. It is a short drive away with a car; just remember the bridge/ferry fee.

You can either drive through Øresund Bridge or take the ferry from Helsingør.

If you plan to travel to Sweden more than 1 time a year, it is cheaper to go with ØresundGO – 2x 178+350 for a yearly subscription = 706 DKK for the first trip and then 356 DKK for all the other travels in the same year. If you decide to drive without a subscription, it will cost you 2×460 = 920 (prices from January 2025)
