Couple minutes away from Sibiu there is really nice open air museum – “ASTRA” Museum of Traditional Folk Civilization. Basically, it is a place where the whole Romania got packed into. You can see houses from all different regions and you might be surprised but Romania is a very versatile place.
The museum is huge but there are not that many people around so most of the time I was happily going around with out strangers looking at me 😉 Being me, I had to check out all the houses outside and inside and in majority of them, there were some pieces of furniture, herbs and other things Romanians might have been using 😉

All in all, this was one of the best places we went to in Romania.
