We’ve passed through Odense numerous times but always found ourselves short on time, missing the chance to visit the famed troll hidden there. So, when an opportunity arose on our return from a holiday to stop by some friends in Odense, we were excited to finally make a detour to see Hans Hulehånd.
Hans is a distinctive figure from the “Corona project” – The Giant Trollfest, created by Thomas Dambo and his team of volunteers. Nestled in a small clearing surrounded by greenery and bushes, he sits near a charming playhouse. Hans, with his imposing yet inviting presence, is always ready to delight and interact with children who come to visit the little house.
